Full Context

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Spoken by Christ unto Nicodemus by night, this verse is the very heart of the Gospel — the unmeasured love of the Father, manifested through the Son, offered freely unto all who believe.
